Slow worm

At my sisters birthday BBQ, her daughter (my niece) and her friends discovered a Slow worm, probably trying to do a runner. They plucked it from the sanctity of the ground and proceeded to play with it as though it was a puppy. Then I further exploited the terrified creature by taking pictures of it.

We were all slow worm monsters that day, so captivated by the little fella, the kids all held it against its will, whilst I snapped it like a crazy paparazzi. Don't worry all you environmentalists out there, no physical harm came to the creature, and he was released back into the grass after my sister insisted he be returned to the ground.
